Hi everyone,
We have a 2010--3670 Bh with a fireplace/desk combination. The open fireplace has a thermostat that you can adjust. However lately the heater just turns itself off, (fireplace continues to be alight}it does not appear to be hot and the thermoregulator is oriented soh it should not be turning off. Do you think it is the thermoregulator OR is it time to consider replacing the heater, it has been used a lot over the parting 5 years? If that is so, can I replace the heater without taking the complete social unit away? Any help/comments/suggestions would be pleasing.
thanks

If IT is not acquiring full air circulation the hi-fix may be hit its set dot and shutting off the element. Here is an old thread with link to manuals on HOM.
Hope this helps,

I see the thread is a few months old, but wanted to aver, I contacted Dimplex regarding a similar thing occurrence, we discovered in Colorado when temps (in June) would let down to the 50s at night, and we ran the fireplace to get down the shudder off. After close to 2 minutes, the blower would cut off. It seemed as though it was still heating, but not sure. We upside-down the unit off immediately.
Our Dimplex fireplace was purchased aftermarket, and we installed information technology ourselves. I told the woman who answered the warranty phone number what was occurrence, and my serial number. Because we were still under the 2 year warranty, she transmitted our the "blower/bulle" part, no direction. We followed instruction manual provided to remove the unit and trade verboten the parts. I think it took about 30 minutes for the 2 of us to do it. (extra hands help in moving the fireplace and holding parts in place.) Heater ran well on the far side the 2 minutes it was cutting off at previously, so we called information technology fixed. Will screen Thomas More this fall, once IT gets cold... July and Texas' 95+ temps are not the time to test.

it could be the air filters. you lack to make sure they are always clean that way your air conditioner, furnace electroshock therapy. doesn't over work itself.
sorry i couldn't help more!
There are nobelium filters in a Dimplex fireplace. It has a small self-contained heating system component/lover combo mounted near the circus tent on the inside. My hypothesi is that it has a high limit electric switch that is boot outer somehow. My fan quit working also. I took everything apart and blew out entirely the dust and it has been fine ever since....Don

Ours had a similiar matter, reversed out the poteniometer for the temp setting was dirty. Called the manufacture and they sent me a new part which was easy to install. Ours still worked on the manual of arms settings of 750W and 1500W during that time thusly we barely couldnt use the on and off temp feature.
